Issue

Users experience an infinite scroll loop when logging into web.unc.edu or sites.unc.edu environments.

 

Cause

A persistent cookie stored in web browsers is causing Single Sign-On (SSO) to initiate infinite redirects.

 

Solution

Until the root cause is fully diagnosed, try the following two workarounds:

 

Method 1: Delete Cookies

Clear the cookies from the site's main page before attempting to logging in. See the screenshots for cookie deletion procedure for Chrome.
