Gateway and Netmask Configuration Help for UNC Subnets and VLANs

This article covers know how to configure gateway and netmask when configuring subnets and VLANs on campus networks.

Information

Adding devices to the UNC network using a static IP address will require using the appropriate network mask and a gateway IP address. Access will require a valid Onyen. You can use standard web page search functions  (Ctrl + F / Cmd + F) to find your mask and gateway by:

  • VLAN name
  • VLAN number
  • Associated IPv4 or IPv6 subnet
