Virtual Lab: Create My JMP Student Account

This article explains how students and faculty can create an account in JMP Student Edition to access JMP in Virtual Lab.

 

 

Eligibility and Use

  • University students and employees can download JMP Student Edition.
  • Use of the software is limited to classroom purposes (student or instructor) or academic research that will be published in a journal or publicly shared at a conference.
  • New accounts will be verified for eligibility.
  • JMP Student Edition also enables you to install JMP on your personal Mac and Windows devices if preferred.

 

Create My JMP Accounts

JMP Student Edition is installed in Virtual Lab. To use JMP student Edition, you will need to create and authenticate your My JMP account as follow:

 

Step 1: Creating New My JMP Accounts

  1. Follow the instructions in the JMP SE Download & Install Guide to create your account.
  2. Once your account is created, follow the instructions in Step 2 to authenticate it.

Step 2: Authenticating Using your MY JMP account in Virtual Lab

  1. In Virtual Lab, launch JMP Student Edition
  2. On the Welcome to JMP prompt, click OK

 

  1. On the My JMP Authorization prompt, enter the email address associated with your My JMP account and click Verify.

 

  1. A verification code will be sent to your email account.  Enter the code in the JMP prompt and click Verify. 

JMP will authenticate and open.
