SON - Data Map Adjustment

Service Description

The School of Nursing Data Map is a centralized tool that documents where key data is stored, who owns it, and how it can be accessed. It helps faculty, staff, and students quickly identify the correct system of record for different types of information (e.g., enrollment data, grants, HR, student milestones).

Audience

School of Nursing faculty, staff, and students who need to locate, request, or update data sources.

Requirements

System access requests will require approval from the data owner, your supervisor, or compliance units (e.g., ORS, HR, Student Affairs, etc).

Support

For help with:

  • Submitting a data access request.
  • Reporting issues or changes to the Data Map.

  • Submit a ticket via TDX (preferred)

Expected Delivery

Map Change Requests: Reviewed within 5–10 business days

System Access Requests: Approval timelines vary by system, typically 2–4 weeks depending on training and compliance requirements
