Service Description
The Digital Accessibility Office offers several services to assist with accessibility needs at UNC.
These services are available to faculty, staff, and students.
Consulting
Consulting services include but are not limited to:
- Proper documentation of accessibility activities
- Workflow consultation
- Hands-on interactions
- Captioning consultations
- Other digital accessibility questions
Web and Course Accessibility Assessments
Accessibility assessments for course content and web content, guidance on how to fix any issues, and resources to learn more.
Procurement Support
Procurement support and guidance on how to buy with accessibility in mind. Support includes information about reviewing Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) documents, evaluating compliance with accessibility requirements, and support drafting RFP and other language to ensure ongoing compliance.
