Telecommunications: Recording an Automated Attendant or a Hunt Group Voicemail Box

This article walks you through recording an Automated Attendant or a Hunt Group Voicemail Box

Introduction

An automated attendant is a voice service feature that provides menu options to callers. The feature can have up to 9 primary options in the menu and then offer sub-menus and even time of day routing (better known as after hours routing for evening and weekend callers so that they hear a different message from daytime).

A hunt group is a main number that rings a group of phone numbers simultaneously.
