Service Description

Information technology and instructional technology support and services for Morehead Planetarium and Science Center employees offered by MPSC IT. MPSC IT’s mission is to enhance the resources for learning science, technology, and health.

User/Customer Responsibilities:

  • Protecting and never sharing their Onyens and Onyen passwords.
  • Being available to provide information and troubleshoot problems if they submit critical help requests.
  • Responding to help request communications within 5 business days of less. Help request with no response within 5 business days, will be closed. The user/customer will have to submit a new help request and will have a new place in line in the help request queue.

Out of Scope:

MPSC IT does not support personal technology.

Maintenance Schedule:

  • Regular Patch and Reboot Schedule
  • Monday 2:00AM - 8:00AM
  • Any planned outage will be communicated to customers in advance of the date.
  • Other outage windows will be negotiated in advance with MPSC users and will be widely communicated at least 10 business days prior to the date.

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday, 9am-4pm, excluding University holidays and closures.
