This article provides the steps to obtain a SAS SID/Setinit. For more general information about SAS, please refer to the SAS: Introduction to SAS System document.
You CANNOT share your sid/setinit with any other user. If you do, you will lose your access to SAS. This SID/setinit will expire at the end of December of every year.
Follow the steps below:
Step 1
Please go to the following web link: license.unc.edu
Step 2
You will be prompted to enter your ONYEN and Password to access the website.
Step 3
Select SAS for the product, version, Operating System, and Number of installations. Check the I agree check box and click Next.
Step 4
Click on the “Download” link at the top of the SAS Download site.
